All of Compendium's job openings are subject to applicants meeting eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Currently all of our job openings require security clearances because much of our work (but not all) is for the U.S. government. There are exhaustive guidelines for determining elibility for access to classified information from the Defense Security Service, which performs security investigations.

The main requirements are:

• You don't belong to a group that advocates overthrow of the U.S. government
• You are a U.S. citizen (only in rare cases are non-U.S. citizens granted security clearances)
• You don't have a pattern of irresponsible behavior (drugs, alcohol, crime, etc.)
